Overview
This article outlines the key configuration tools available to administrators in the Configuration section of CAMS Web. These tools allow you to control how data is structured, captured, displayed, and synchronised across modules.
All configuration settings are accessible from the Configuration panel in the left-hand menu and are only available to users with admin-level permissions.

You can:

Select or create module templates for different data structures
-
Configure individual fields, including names, data types, validation, and visibility
-
Set which levels (e.g. Asset Group, Portion, Area) are used in each module
-
Arrange the display order and naming of your hierarchy levels
-
Import bulk updates to field or level configuration
-
Save your setup as a reusable template for future use
Module Config gives you full control over how asset, location, or inspection modules are structured.
