Supported Barcode Types in CAMS Mobile V2

Overview

This article lists the barcode types currently supported by CAMS Mobile. These formats have been confirmed by the development team as compatible with CAMS V2 and are based on the capabilities of the scanning library used in the app.

Note: CAMS Mobile uses the mobile_scanner Flutter package for barcode scanning.

If your team plans to scan a barcode not listed below or encounters issues with a supported type, contact support for guidance. Barcode support may also depend on device model and camera quality.

EAN / UPC: EAN-8, EAN-13, EAN-5, ISSN, ISBN, UPCE
2D Codes: QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF417, GS1 DataMatrix, Aztec, PPN, GTIN
